Ron Geren



Ronald L. Geren is the owner of RLGA Technical Services, a specifications and building code consulting firm in Scottsdale, Arizona. He has over 35 years of experience in the design and construction industry. Ron is the author of Applying the Building Code: Step-by-Step Guidance for Design and Building Professionals and has coauthored CSI’s Project Delivery Practice Guide and Construction Specifications Practice Guide. He is a past chair of the AIA MasterSpec Architectural Review Committee and has served on the AIA Codes and Standards Committee. Ron is a former CSI Board of Directors chair and currently serves as the CSI Foundation Board of Trustees chair.

Beth Stroshane

Beth Stroshane

Beth is founder and Managing Partner of Applied Building Information LLC (ABI). She passed the CSI’s Construction Documents Technologist exam, is a Certified Construction Specifier, and LEED Legacy-accredited. Beth has helped clients effectively manage their master specification like the infrastructure it is. Beth presents nationally on topics including BIM and specifications, material transparency, developing master specifications and the evolving profession of specifications writing. She is also an active volunteer with the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI). She served as the CSI Puget Sound President (2014-2015) and is currently the NW Region Treasurer (2022 to current). Prior to ABI, Beth spent 8 years working as an in-house specifier for two large architecture firms in the Seattle area. She began her career working as a construction engineer for a local construction company.

Greg Markling



Greg is a senior building information management consultant with iBIMsolutions, llc, with 49+ years of experience as a practicing architect, specification writer, and construction contract administrator. He is a 43-year member of CSI, past president of the CSI Denver Chapter, current president of the CSI Tucson Chapter, a former Institute Board member, and former chair of the Institute Certification and Education Committees, and is a former Institute President. Greg is a Fellow of the Construction Specifications Institute, Lifetime Member, Distinguished Member, Certified Construction Specifier and Certified Construction Contract Administrator, and is also a LEED Accredited Professional.

Amy is a Registered Architect and Specifications Consultant with over 20 years of experience in commercial construction. She specializes in the technical development of projects with a passion for enclosure detailing, building science, codes, and specifications.

Dory Azar

Dory Azar

Dory Azar is a licensed architect and social media content creator known for his entertaining, educational, and personality‑driven approach to architecture. Based in Ontario, Canada, he brings over 20 years of experience to his role at RIB Software as an architect, product consultant, and host of SpecTalk, the webinar series focused on improving the specification practice. With over 285,000 followers across Instagram and TikTok, Dory blends expertise with an accessible style that resonates with architects at all levels. He represents RIB Software at conferences and speaking engagements across North America, promoting the specifier profession and encouraging design professionals to use social media to share their knowledge, build their brand, and expand their business with inclusivity and confidence.

Kathryn Bryan from Legacy Wealth Advisors has a doctorate in neuroscience, is a chartered special needs financial planner, and is a Certified Exit Planning Advisor. Over the past 15 years, she has guided solopreneurs and small- to mid-sized business owners in asking the tough questions about what they truly want from their business in retirement—financially, emotionally, and physically—for themselves, their employees, and their families. She uses this as the starting point to build customized financial strategies to protect, build, and maximize their business value today and in the future. 

Mitch Miller


Mitch Miller received his Degree in Architecture in 1973. He started with F&M Associates, worked with Mack Trucks as in-house architect, was in a management position with Garrett, served as Project Architect with Batten Architects and joined USA Architects as Directory of Specifications. Mitch formed M2 architectural resources, LLC in 2017, focusing on three major areas; Project Management; Specification Writing; Quality Assurance / Quality Control. As a member of CSI serving as Director for the Middle Atlantic Region and Institute Vice President, he brings extensive experience in the design of Religious Facilities, Healthcare, Assisted Living, K-12, Higher Education and Corporate Environments. Mitch currently serves as the Education Chair for SCIP.

Susan is the Founder and President of Spec Services, LLC with over 40 years of experience in specifications writing, construction contract administration, interior design, and accessibility consulting. She started Spec Services in 2016 for the purpose of producing high-quality specifications for architects and the ambition to develop the next generation of architectural specifiers.

As a 25+ year veteran of the building enclosure industry, Jennifer Keegan serves as the Senior Director of Building & Roofing Science for GAF. Her career in building forensics, assessment, design and remediation provided a strong technical foundation for industry collaboration and leadership.  Jennifer provides technical leadership within the industry through her involvement with AIA, CSI, and IIBEC; and as an advocate for women within the industry as the Past Chair of National Women in Roofing.

John C. Guenther



John has produced a distinguished body of architecture that contributes significantly to the built environment, with projects ranging from the adaptive reuse of historic landmarks to new projects that fit into their physical, environmental, social and historical context. His work has received over 50 national, regional, and local awards from the AIA and a diverse array of professional organizations, civic groups, and publications. John’s latest book, The Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis: An Illustrated Timeline, covers 352 years of our history and 138 key moments in the Cathedral Basilica’s history.

Tim Murray



Tim Murray is a Senior Sustainability Consultant with Stantec. He has been involved in over 80 LEED projects to date and was awarded the designation of LEED Fellow in 2019. Tim specializes in implementing sustainability initiatives for US Embassies/Consulates and military facilities. He has volunteered with the USGBC since 2003 and sits on the LEED Materials and Resources Technical Advisory Group. Tim was the founding chair of the Green Building Subcommittee at the Greater Houston Partnership and served as an Outside Partner in the Houston LEED for Cities pursuit.

Sean McLaughlin



Sean helps to design elevator systems in new buildings and evaluate elevator systems in current structures. He provides specifications for both new and existing elevators, specifications for elevator maintenance, maintenance conformance evaluations, and final acceptance inspections. With years of industry experience, Sean guides building owners, property managers, and architects to the best vertical transportation systems for their buildings.


Pam Jergenson



With nearly 35 years of experience in building enclosures, Pam specializes in building enclosure investigations and forensics, hygrothermal modeling, and building enclosure management and maintenance planning for building owners and sites across country. Her responsibilities focus on professional development and associations by facilitating training and career pathing, conducting public speaking, working on technical committees; and reviewing guidelines, code, and related documents.
